OUR
PROJECTS

To be a catalyst for lasting socio-economic growth and environmental well-being in the Olure host communities, empowering present and future generations.

Abonkuwa Primary School Rehabilitation Project

We furnished the Abokunwa Primary School, in Eghoro, has been furnished with 50 students’ desks, 6 magic boards, 6 tables, 6 chairs for teachers and a 120-meter walkway to improve access to quality education.

Our goal with this project is to promote the spirit of education, which is the cornerstone for community growth. By providing the school with essential resources like furniture and a walkway, we aim to create a more conducive learning environment for students, empowering the next generation with knowledge and skills for a brighter future. As the students of Abokunwa School walk through this new pathway, they are stepping into a future of opportunities for themselves, their families and the entire Delta State.

Solar Streetlights Installation

We have also installed seventy (70) solar-powered streetlights to light up Ikeyan and Safa/Ogbin block of communities at night.

Our goal here is to provide access to sustainable lighting to enhance security and safety in our communities and to improve the overall well-being of our people. The solar-powered lights are a testament to our commitment to making our communities safer, sustainable and more liveable.

Support for Women in Micro-Enterprise (SWIM)

SWIM is an initiative aimed at empowering women through entrepreneurship. SWIM is designed to support women in our host communities who run small and micro-businesses by providing financial grants, business training, and mentorship opportunities.

We believe that when women thrive economically, the entire community benefit. Through targeted support, SWIM helps women build sustainable businesses, improve their livelihoods, and contribute meaningfully to local economic development.

OHCDT Bursary Scheme

Our Bursary Scheme is designed to promote educational access and excellence among secondary school students. We provide financial support to bright, deserving students from underserved communities, helping to reduce the burden of school fees and related expenses. By investing in the academic journey of young learners, we aim to nurture the next generation of leaders, innovators, and changemakers who will positively shape their communities and the nation.
